Frequently asked questions
in the field of business law

What basic legal matters should I address as an entrepreneur?

It is very important to have contracts with customers in order to avoid doubt about payment periods, as well as to have copyright matters handled correctly and, as the case may be, GDPR-related duties addressed. You should also not underestimate the importance of labor contracts and contracts with suppliers or providers, especially with self-employed persons (programmers or traders). It is necessary to verify whether any regulations, such as AML, GDPR or other similar regulations, apply to you. You should protect your brand by a trademark.

What is better - a conventional contract, or terms and conditions?

Law is to make business easier – not more difficult – for you. If you provide fair terms and conditions to your clients, they will not be tempted to revise them as much as a “conventional” contract. If a client wants to change something, we can add it to an order.

I do not want to sign contracts physically. Is it possible?

Typically, it will suffice to confirm an order, either by e-mail or by means of electronic signature tools. However, it is important to have a confirmation from the client that they agreed to the document (e.g. a confirmation e-mail).
